Protein in Balance
Protein like with everything is about balance.
The amount of protein you need depends on you individually everyone is
different! Balance your protein intake to fit your body's needs. Eating
more than the amount of protein your body requires
will slow your digestive process, but it will also hinder your
muscle-building process because it will constantly try to play catch-up
by ridding itself of the excess. The same goes for the flip side, if you
don’t take in enough protein and your body functions at a higher rate,
you won't gain the muscle you want if you don't feed the muscles enough.
Take in protein before training and also post-training and rest and
recovery periods.
