I want you guys and gals to watch this rant by Rich Plana. Some things I agree with him and some things I understand why the promoters or the industry does this. You have to look at it from both views. Some promoters will make their show bigger and better when they get more money and some will keep it at the same location maybe due to a contract with the venue or they feel comfortable being there. For the athletes, I know they spend a good amount of money and time to prepare for their show. Yes, it's a very expensive sport. I wish the athletes could compete for free but I know the promoter make their money from the athletes entry fee(s) and sponsor(s). The athletes are the show after all.
