Branch Warren’s body has taken a beating over the years and he’s had his share of injuries, but he’s always come back stronger and better than before. His most recent triumph is his biggest ever, and maybe the greatest comeback in the history of bodybuilding.

Going into this year’s Arnold Classic, Branch was the defending champion and the under dog – he suffered a torn quad seven months before the contest, and not everyone in the industry was certain that Branch would be able to recover and pull off a successful comeback in so little time. Branch won his second Arnold Classic – proving that you should never, ever underestimate Branch Warren.

Branch is a great role model – not just for his drive, determination and focus for getting his ass in gear to rehab his leg to win the Arnold, but also for everything that he stands for. Branch is a blue-collar, hardworking family man who puts in the work that’s required to get the job done – and gets the job done. He wasn’t blessed with the best genetics as a bodybuilder, but Branch trained hard and long at Metroflex Gym to be among the best bodybuilders in the world.

Branch’s amazing journey is documented exclusively in the June issue of MD which appears on newsstands May 1st. “BranchWarren: Bodybuilding’s Greatest Comeback Ever!” Mr. Olympia legends, Arnold Classic champions and industry experts – comment on Branch’s inspiring comeback and its significance. Our elite MD roundtable also tells us whether they felt Branch genuinely deserved to win. You have your opinions, but what do Ronnie Coleman, Lee Haney, Dorian Yates, Jay Cutler, Shawn Ray, Flex Wheeler, and Kevin Levrone have to say? We’ve also included Branch’s kick-ass workout and diet that brought him to victory in Columbus.

Also this month the king of bodybuilding, Arnold Schwarzenegger, sits down for an interview with MD’s Bob Cicherillo. In a lively and funnyone-on-one with Bob, Arnold reminisces about his bodybuilding career, the Arnold Classic, his association with Jim Lorimer and fondly recalls workingwith Joe Weider.
