Recovering The Beast

This is a post workout shake to recharge the machine!

Ingredients:
1 cup low-fat (1%) chocolate milk
1/2 cup water
1 scoop whey protein isolate
1 tbsp. black tea powder
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries

Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender & mix until smooth.

Nutrition Facts: Serves One
321 calories, 31 g protein, 39 g carbs, 5 g fat

Side Note:
Ginger, blueberries & black tea powder are gonna help you in the antioxidants department. This will reduce the soreness after an intense workout. Whey Isolate is better to take for post-workout due to the absorption speed. Chocolate milk is a quick way to get the simple carbs but it also has some casein protein in it.
