Why Cables Will Help You Grow!

Here's why.

1. Cables create create constant tension on the muscle unlike a dumbbell or barbell would - at no point during the exercise, provided  you don't "stack" the weight is tension lost when using cables. This makes it more challenging for the muscle and will ultimately equate to more muscle fiber recruitment.

2. Cables give you the freedom to create angles which would be hard to replicate with free weights or machines. This means you can really pin point an area and drive tension to this specific area of the muscle.

Cables are particularly good for exercises where you can really focus the isometric contraction and where you want to focus on "time under tension."
