Ladies, we all know you want tight round booty's. No body likes a pancake butt. You work and work and still...flat booty and saddle bags. I'm going to share a little secret with you, the GLUTES are the largest muscle in the body (jokes aside). Large muscles require a greater amount of stimulus to respond.
What am i saying: You all do these bodyweight "glute kickbacks" and circular glute movements and really "feel the burn". Well guess what...its a complete waste of time! Big muscles require RESISTANCE! Heavy weights. The ONLY way you will ever get a big ole' round bum is with basics like squats, lunges, deadlifts.
I can hear you all now, "but I don't want my ass to get wide(r)"! Hip width is genetically predetermined people! Squats WILL NOT make your butt wider. It may appear to be getting wider, but that is more likely a result of the chocolate cake you polished off last night.
So Squat! And squeeze that tushy.
