Miso Glazed White Fish

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of miso paste(soy bean paste)

2 TBS rice wine Vinegar

2 TBS of mirin (sweet rice wine found in Asian aisle)

1 TBS Splenda brown sugar

1 Tsp of sesame oil

3-4 servings of white fish(cod, halibut, flounder or scallops)

Directions:

Whisk miso, rice wine, Splenda, sesame oil and mirin in a small bowl into a smooth paste.

Preheat broiler. Line a heavy baking sheet with foil and coat the foil with cooking spray. Place the fish on the prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with half the miso glaze. Broil, 3 to 4 inches from the flame, until golden brown, 4 to 5 minutes. Turn the fish over and brush with the remaining miso mixture. Broil until the fish is opaque in the center, 3 to 4 minutes.
