Weighing Out Your Food

If you want to work towards your goals then you need to start weighing your food.

Without weighing your food you're just guessing, working blindly. You could potentially lose weeks or months of time where your macronutrient and caloric intake isn't right for you.

If you are not doing the basics right and getting enough food in (or too much) then your goal becomes very difficult to achieve before you look at doing anything else.

No guessing anymore! You KNOW for a fact what it is you are eating every day. If you're doing this yourself or you hired a coach, this makes the whole process of adjusting a diet that much easier since you have set points.
If for example you eat the same meals each day BUT the portions change, you don't really know if you need to reduce your calories or increase them because you have no solid point of reference.
Here's one of the reasons most people drastically cut their carbs or fats to try and create a big energy deficit, as where in reality all they need to do is KNOW what they are eating and then create a small energy deficit. The contrast to that is those who eat way too much food in attempt to grow, over eat and just get fat.

Again, just by knowing your intake you would be able to make better, informed decisions with your diet.

From a psychological POV,  I feel its far better to weigh your food as well because you have peace that you ARE eating what you need. So many people either under estimate or over estimate the amount of food they are really eating which is half the battle.

By weighing your food there's no guess work and you are building a journey based around facts rather than estimates, which in my experience are often far from reality.
