Benefits of Leucine

The amino acid Leucine is responsible for activating the 'anabolic switch' known as mTOR.
However your body still requires the other amino acids to be able to synthesize protein. You need the other BCAAs and a supply of free amino acids in the body. At least 3 grams of Leucine should be taken after workout to start the protein synthesize.
