Watch and Learn

Inevitably there are going to be days where your muscle just isn't firing as you would expect it to in the gym .

There are multiple reasons why this happens.

But you MUST be constantly analyzing how your muscle feels in the gym, every workout.

1. Can you feel the tension within the muscle or is there no feeling?
2. Are the muscles in either side of the body feeling it (or is right/left firing more than the other?)
3. Are you getting a pump within that muscle?

Any of the above are often going to be a sign that something isn't right.

This could be

1. Lack of recovery/poor sleep/over training
2. Wrong diet
3. Lack of supplementation
4. The need for soft tissue work

I want you to pay close attention to how each muscle feels when you train it, and even both sides because sometimes you will "feel" it more in one over the other!
